(About me) - My story
I grew up in a small Polish village where, if an opportunity didn’t exist, you often had to create it yourself. It taught me to find my own path, challenge the status quo, and see limitations as something to work around rather than accept. Today, that gives me a broader perspective on technology, business, and the people behind both.
Studying and working across different countries exposed me to different ways of solving problems, collaborating, and building products. It taught me to look at challenges from multiple perspectives, draw from the best practices of different environments, and avoid getting locked into a single way of working.
I value diversity because it is often in diverse environments that the strongest ideas and solutions emerge. While studying in Denmark, I worked with friends on a startup project, which further strengthened my interest in building new products and testing ideas in practice.
One of my professional ambitions was to work for a globally recognized brand, and I’m glad I was able to achieve that with Visa. Working in the financial industry taught me to place particular emphasis on reliability, cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection. At the same time, the international environment, the company’s focus on innovation, and its strong connection to sport have made this an especially valuable stage of my career.
